The Mini-Kindi Program is North Clackamas Soccer Club's introductory program for our youngest players, from Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.
Focus and Philosophy: The primary goal of Mini-Kindi is to develop a genuine love for soccer. Our approach is entirely non-competitive and centers on skill development, confidence building, and learning teamwork in a kind and friendly atmosphere. We generally follow the US Youth Soccer Standards of Play for U6-U8 age levels, ensuring players develop fundamental skills and confidence with the ball. We emphasize that parents and coaches are always supportive, never critical.
Structure: The program runs in both the fall and spring seasons. All practices and games take place at the same location, which is usually Bilquist Elementary and Ann-Toni Schreiber Park.
Schedule: Players participate in two, 60-minute sessions per week, starting at 5:30 PM.
Coaching: All teams are managed and coached by volunteer parents.
Mini-Kindi is the perfect foundation for players to confidently transition into our recreational or developmental programs once they reach third grade.
