Tryout Day Reminders
- Please do not wear any NCSC/NCA or other club-branded gear
- Wear soccer cleats and shin guards
- Bring a water bottle
- If bringing a soccer ball, please clearly label it with your name and phone number
Age Group Re-organization
For the 2026-2027 the assignment of players to age groups is shifting in OYSA and around the country. Read how North Clackamas Alliance will be adjusting to the changes.
Requirements
Fees and Eligibility
A $25 non-refundable tryout fee is due upon registering for tryouts.
Any player accepting a position on a team for the upcoming season must not have any outstanding balance owed to the club.
Regional/District Eligibility:
Only those who attend North Clackamas School District (NCSD) schools or live within NCSD boundaries are automatically eligible.
Continuing NCSC/NCA players team are exempt from the regional eligibility requirement. Outside district players are accepted but quotas may apply so that we can maintain our eligibility for lower rental fees by the school district for their facility use.
What we're looking for
- Players who compete with effort and intent
- Positive communication and body language
- Willingness to listen, adapt, and be coached
- Confidence to try things and learn from mistakes
Acceptance Process
After tryout sessions conclude, players will receive an official invitation via the email used during registration.
- Families will have 48 hours to accept their spot, complete registration, and submit the deposit
- Additional invitations will be sent as roster spots become available
- Players not initially selected will be notified once teams are finalized
