Consider the courage it takes for a 13 or 14-year-old to step onto that field. They are new, learning, and under immense pressure, making split-second decisions while coaches, players, and parents scrutinize their every move.

Think about it: when a young player makes a mistake, they are encouraged. When a young referee makes a mistake, what do they hear from the sidelines? They are often the only kid out there who doesn't get applauded for pushing beyond their comfort zone

Let's give young referees the same grace and support given to young players. Their courage deserves recognition.
